Are these a table?

No, these are toppers that sit on top of your existing table securely with a cross rail support system and soft rubberized 3M product to keep the topper from moving.

What Topper is right for my gaming?

It really depends on ones play style and gaming group. We have smaller table that are great for small and medium footprint games. The dimensions are listed on the campaign page. We find the “Watson” (38 x 60 play area) is great for 95 percent of the games out there. I have a huge game collection and play games that are sprawling like Mare Nostrum, Scythe, Kemet, Star Trek Ascendancy and Yokohama, and have more than enough space. the card rail feature plus cup holder/component trays and double trays provide extra space as well.

Why is the Mycroft 48" x 72" Game Topper "ALL NEW"

This Kickstarter we have revamped and are re-releasing “The Mycroft” and its amazing package called the Reichenbach Falls Bundle. The “ALL NEW” is because the topper comes in two 48” x 24” halves, with a 48” x 24” leaf to make the 48” x 72” playing surface.

Will my Table work with the Topper? What is the ideal size?

The ideal size that will support every rail is 1 inch under the outside dimension of each Topper sizes we offer. For instance our Watson (which we feel is nearly the ideal size for most games) Toppers’s outside dimension is 45 x 67 inches, so a 44 x 66 is perfect, however, our toppers do not need to be fully supported because of our cross support under support system. The rail on the bottom is 2 1/4”. Our Game Toppers over hang 9 inches on the 30 x 6 ft tables at conventions and perform very admirably in heavy convention use. Each of the video reviewers show this and it really is amazing how well the perform.

Standard vs Luxuriant vs Premium?

There have been a lot of questions about the functionality and differences. Hopefully this will help in clearing that up. In a nut shell, they function the same. They both have the card slot feature. the standard is just powder coat aluminum across the top instead of having the wood inlay. The Luxuriant and Premium mold allows us to have an inset to put high quality crafted wood into it. Luxuriant is a natural Oak finish, while our Premium is a beautiful, rich Walnut.

How do I add items?

It is very simple, all you need to do is add up the options you want and add that $ amount to your pledge. At the end of the campaign you will get billed from Kickstarter. This money will be a credit in the Backer Kit survey which will allow to select anything you pledged for plus allow you to upgrade or add on anything you may want.

If you just pledge the pledge level you selected, you will still be able to upgrade or add anything you want in the Backer Kit survey after the campaign ends.

Will there be mats available for the XL toppers?

How do I get the item I want if there is no pledge level for it?

If you are looking for an item that does not have a pledge level associated with it, you can still pledge for those items. What you do is add up the value of the items you want, and pledge that amount in the $10 “À la carte” pledge level. When the Backerkit pledge manager launches after the Kickstarter, that pledge value will be put in as a credit you can spend on items of your choice. If you want to add more items to your order, you can do so there as well!

We will be charging all shipping costs in the Backerkit pledge manager. After your survey goes out and is answered, shipping costs will be added to your order.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
